Visiting Stockholm
We realize that Stockholm is a long trek, so we chose our wedding date with an eye toward allowing people to plan a summer vacation around the wedding when Sweden is as its most beautiful. As such, we will try to post helpful information here with things to see and do and places to stay at while visiting Stockholm. If you are looking for something specific, please let us know!
Two important things to know about Sweden are: first, that nearly everyone speaks excellent English so language should not be an issue; second, Sweden has its own currency so getting a bunch of Euros before you head over won’t do you much good.
For specific information about the wedding, please see the page for Our Wedding. We suggest all guests review that page as there is some necessary information there. The wedding reception will be held at Häringe Slott (Palace), and we have blocked off a large number of rooms there for Friday the 7th and the entire Palace for Saturday the 8th of August so that all our guests can stay at one location if they wish.
