ShoppingAll of Stockholm is a great shopping city. The following are some streets in the inner city worth visiting for shoppers: Hamngatan (City Centre) - Features the department store NK (Nordiska Kompaniet) with exclusive shops and not to be missed, the indoor mall Gallerian and several other shops, including the H&M flagship store. Drottninggatan (City Centre) - Long pedestrian street with all the major brands and chains, including the department store Åhléns. Biblioteksgatan (City Centre) - Exclusive shops and boutiques along a pedestrian street. Birger Jarlsgatan (City Centre) - Bustling avenue with exclusive shops, including the elegant mall Sturegallerian at Stureplan. Kungsgatan (City Center) - Designer shops and chains between Stureplan and Hötorget (the latter is a market square). Also, the best of Sweden’s famous crystal can be found at Orrefors/Kosta Boda’s concept store and Nordiska Kristall. Kungsgatan also features Sweden’s first McDonald’s in its original location. Nybrogatan (Östermalm) - Exclusive designer shops and restaurants along this semi-pedestrian street, passing by the food hall Östermalms Saluhall. Västerlånggatan (Old Town) - The artery of Old Town, lined with small shops and restaurants mainly aimed at tourists. Götgatan (Södermalm) - Semi-pedestrian street with new fashion and numerous pubs. At the square Medborgarplatsen, the indoor mall Söderhallarna is to be found.
