The Arlanda Express is the airport express between Arlanda and Stockholm City and the journey takes 20 minutes and costs SEK 220, which trains depart 4-6 times an hour. Up to 4 children age 0-17 travels free; youths up to 25 years/students/senior citizens SEK 110. Tickets are sold at manned counters and ticket vending machines. By bus:
Buses operate between Stockholm Arlanda Airport and the City Terminal near Stockholm Central Station about every 10 minutes throughout the day. Night traffic is adjusted to flight arrival/departures. By taxi:
A number of taxi companies operate in Stockholm and their rates can vary. Fixed rate for transfers between Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Stockholm City costs approximately SEK 495 for 1-4 people. Important: Make sure you check the fixed rate with the taxi driver before you leave the airport! Airport taxis have a fixed rate to most addresses and can be shared with other travelers at reduced costs. Taxis from larger companies always display the name of the driver and the car identification in the front window.
