If you're planning to spend a few days in Stockholm before or after the wedding most U.S. travel sites, such as www.kayak.com, www.priceline.com, www.expedia.com, www.hotels.com, and www.orbitz.com are all very good for booking of hotels. As within the U.S. it pays to try a couple of sites for the best rates, but we recommend starting with www.kayak.com. Location is key as Stockholm is easily walked.

Strand Hotel (Östermalm) - This hotel is in the same category as the Grand Hotel but perhaps not as famous. It overlooks the waterways of Stockholm and is walking distance to Old Town, the Royal Castle, and the upscale neighborhood of Östermalm and the food halls of Östermalms Saluhall.
